Pilot terms — draft
Last updated August 3, 2026
Pilot status
ObiAnswers is an early internal-operations pilot, not a generally available or regulated professional service. Features, limits, providers, and availability may change. These terms are product structure only and require qualified legal review before any public or paid release.
Accounts and responsibility
Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials, use only their own account, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Organizations are responsible for inviting appropriate users, assigning roles/audiences, removing access, and ensuring account activity complies with law and workplace policy.
Approved content and manager review
The organization—not ObiAnswers—selects, owns, and approves uploaded policies. It must have the rights and lawful basis to process that content. Managers must keep documents accurate, resolve conflicts, review high-impact or unclear questions, and ensure employees do not treat generated answers as final when the product requests escalation.
AI limitations
Generated answers can be incomplete, outdated, misinterpreted, or incorrect even when citations are shown. Citations must be reviewed in context. The service does not replace licensed medical, legal, financial, safety, emergency, employment, or other professional judgment, and it must not make autonomous high-impact decisions.
Acceptable use
Users may use ObiAnswers only for authorized internal company knowledge. They must not upload unlawful or infringing content; seek credentials or data they are not allowed to access; evade role, audience, usage, or security controls; probe other organizations; distribute malware; disrupt the service; reverse engineer protected systems except where law permits; or use answers to harm, discriminate, deceive, surveil, or make prohibited automated decisions.
Intellectual property
The organization retains its rights in uploaded content and grants only the permissions needed to operate the pilot and use configured providers. ObiAnswers software, branding, and documentation remain owned by their applicable owner. Final feedback, output, provider-license, open-source, and customer-content terms require counsel-approved contract language.
Availability, changes, and support
The pilot may be unavailable, rate limited, changed, or discontinued and has no committed service level unless a signed agreement states otherwise. Support is provided through the contact below on a pilot basis. Organizations should retain authoritative originals and operational fallbacks.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended to address security risk, unlawful use, provider restrictions, noncompliance, or service protection. Final notice, cure, export, retention, deletion, termination-assistance, and survival terms must be defined in the customer contract. Users may request account termination through the designated organization administrator and support contact.
Warranties and liability — counsel placeholder
No final warranty disclaimer, indemnity, limitation of liability, damages exclusion, governing law, venue, or dispute process is stated here. Those provisions must be drafted and approved by qualified counsel for the legal entity, jurisdiction, risk profile, providers, and customer agreement. Do not launch by treating this paragraph as final terms.
